Golf has always been a popular sport for business networking, be it on the fairway or in the conference room. We’ve turned this venerable sport into a fun and engaging event that allows everyone to get involved in a meaningful way. With Hole in One, delegates work in teams to design and build a challenging mini golf course which they will play and in a competitive tournament.
How It Works
Hole in One uses canned goods and non-perishable packaged food items as part of the materials to build each course segment. After the event, the food will be donated to local food bank which will distribute the foods to those in need. As a token of good will, each participant would be instructed to bring 5 – 10 items from a pre-determined “wish list” provided by the selected food bank. Alternatively, we can provide cases of canned and dry goods to use for the program or have teams go on a charity shopping spree with a pre-determined budget prior to the event.
Learning and development outcomes
Hole In One is a high energy activity where everyone gets involved in all aspects of answering challenging questions, creative design and building the course to having a go on the green. Creativity and ingenuity are sparked! Communication and project management skills are drawn on as they design their mini golf course. Participants have fun and feel great giving!
